The Luxembourg-based company NeoGames Studios announced a deal with Atlantic Lottery to expand more into the Canadian gambling market with the introduction of its iGaming products in the region.
The technology company provides iLottery and online gaming solutions and the deal greatly expands its reach in Canada. The agreement with Atlantic Lottery sees the launch of NeoGames’ “eInstant” games in the Atlantic provinces.
“We are excited to announce the launch of NeoGames Studio’s premium eInstant titles with the Atlantic Lottery,” NeoGames Studio managing director Hili Shakked said. “The partnership is our first content-only deal in Canada, and it underscores our commitment to providing advanced solutions that meet the unique needs of our lottery customers.
Expanding North American Footprint
NeoGames already operates in other parts of Canada, including Alberta casinos, as well as in several states in the U.S. The new deal grows that footprint to include all provinces within the coverage area of the Atlantic Lottery, including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. As part of the agreement the lottery gains access to a rich stream of NeoGames iGaming content.
“The lottery can now benefit from a portfolio of award-winning, top-performing games, in a deal that is NeoGames’ first pure digital content partnership in Canada,” the company noted.
Beyond the iGaming deal, lottery officials and NeoGames Studio plan on collaborating on future game offerings and technological enhancements. The lottery offers the only regulated iLottery and iGaming platform in Atlantic Canada. That currently includes a variety of digital entertainment through the lottery’s alc.ca website which is the largest eInstant game operator in Canada.
“Atlantic Lottery is thrilled to launch NeoGames Studio’s innovative content library to further enhance the digital gaming experience in Atlantic Canada,” Atlantic Lottery director of iGaming Robert Lalonde said. “Through this partnership, we will aim to expand our game content and broaden our appeal to players, while maintaining our commitment to responsible gambling.”
He added that the deal will “enhance Atlantic Lottery’s online footprint and attract new audiences, supporting the company’s growth in the iLottery market. It is a partnership designed to help AL maximize profitability and proceeds to good causes, while also providing players in Atlantic Canada with the best possible gaming experience.”
Some of the company’s games have been received well by players. Desert Fantasy won the 2023 EGR (Electronic Gaming Review) North America Award for “Best New Game.”
